That's why, in honor of Women's History Month, we're holding a picture and video contest showcasing how women use LeonLite lighting products to create beautiful and functional living spaces. By celebrating women's creativity and ingenuity, we hope to inspire others to see the connection between lighting, home, and family, and to appreciate the vital role that women play in creating a cozy and welcoming home.
What is Women's History Month?
Women's History Month is an annual observance in March that highlights the contributions of women throughout history and in contemporary society. The month-long celebration honors the trailblazers and pioneers who have fought for gender equality and social justice, as well as the unsung heroines whose accomplishments have often been overlooked or undervalued.
The Women's History Month also serves as an opportunity to raise awareness about issues that affect women, such as gender-based violence, reproductive rights, and workplace discrimination. It provides a platform to celebrate diversity and inclusivity, and to acknowledge the intersectionality of different identities and experiences.

Women's History Month Photo & Video Contest - Guideline and FAQ
Q: What is the LeonLite Women's History Month Photo & Video Contest about?
A: The contest invites participants to showcase how they use LeonLite LED lighting products through original photos and/or videos, in celebration of Women's History Month.
Q: When is the contest period?
A: The contest will run from March 1, 2023, at 12:00 AM PST, through March 22, 2023, at 11:59 PM PST.
Q: Who is eligible to participate?
A: Participants must be 18 years or older to enter. The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Q: What are the submission guidelines for the contest?
- All photos and videos must be original work, taken by the participants and sent to event@leonlite.com
- Using the hashtag #leonlite on Instagram, Pinterest, or TikTok
- Entries must not infringe upon any trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual property rights, or rights of privacy of any person or entity.
- Photos and videos must be in their original state and cannot be altered in any way.
- Low-resolution or blurry photos and videos will not be considered.
- Entries must showcase at least one product purchased from LeonLite. Irrelevant or inappropriate entries will be disqualified.
- LeonLite reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not conform to the stated contest rules.
Q: What is the entry limit for participants?
A: Participants may submit up to 10 photos and/or videos per day, but only one prize can be awarded per person.
Q: How will the winners be selected?
A: LeonLite will select the three winners based on their creativity, originality, and how well they showcase LeonLite products. There will be no voting by participants.
Q: What are the prizes for the contest?
On March 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM PST, LeonLite will select three winners and contact them via email. The first-place winner will receive a $500 store credit to leonlite.com. The second will each receive a $200 store credit leonlite.com. And third place winners will receive a $100 store credit to leonlite.com. Additionally, every participant will receive a 10% discount code for one purchase, valid through April 30, 2023.
Q: Can LeonLite use the submitted photos and videos for marketing purposes?
A: Yes, by entering the contest, participants agree that photos and videos submitted can be used by LeonLite for marketing purposes, including but not limited to sharing on leonlite.com and LeonLite's social media channels. If you provide your Instagram handle, we will ensure that we tag you and give you credit for your photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram posts.
Q: What is the deadline for submissions?
A: Submissions will be accepted starting March 1, 2023, at 12:00 AM PST, through March 22, 2023, at 11:59 PM PST. Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline passes.
Q: How can the prize be collected?
A: The prize must be collected by the winner and is non-transferable.
Q: What happens if the winner does not respond to the notification?
A: If no response is received after five business days, a new winner will be selected, and the previous winner will forfeit all rights to the prize.
