WARRANTY INFORMATION

ALL LED PRODUCTS:
A MINIMUM 12-MONTH, UP TO 5-YEAR WARRANTY

TORCHSTAR offers a limited warranty for products under TORCHSTAR®, Leonlite®, ESCENA®, and LITEdge®, covering material and workmanship defects as well as brightness loss beyond 30% during normal use. The warranty period starts from the original purchase date and applies only to products bought in the U.S. or Canada. To file a claim, the original buyer must provide proof of purchase and may be asked to return the item or cover shipping fees. The warranty excludes misuse, unauthorized modifications, improper installation, and incidental or consequential damages. TORCHSTAR may replace defective products with the same or an equivalent model at its sole discretion.

Introduction

At TORCHSTAR®, we take pride in the quality of our products and are committed to your satisfaction. This Limited Warranty explains what is covered, how to make a claim, and what to expect.

1. Warranty Coverage

TORCHSTAR warrants that all branded products (“Product”) sold under TORCHSTAR®, Leonlite®, ESCENA®, and LITEdge® are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use during the applicable Warranty Period. We also guarantee the product will maintain at least 70% of its initial brightness during the Warranty Period, in accordance with our published specifications.

2. Warranty Period

The Warranty Period begins on the original retail purchase date and lasts for the duration listed on the product detail page or packaging. The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and for products purchased within the United States and Canada.

3. How to File a Warranty Claim

To submit a claim under this Limited Warranty:

  • You must be the original purchaser.

  • The product must have been purchased directly from TORCHSTAR or an authorized distributor/retailer.

  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

  • TORCHSTAR may request additional information or documentation (such as installation details, photos, videos, or usage history).

  • If requested, the defective product must be returned, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Claims can be submitted online or by contacting our Customer Support team. Claims are subject to approval based on our warranty terms.

4. Remedy

If a valid claim is approved, TORCHSTAR may, at its sole discretion:

  • Replace the defective product with the same model or an equivalent version (updated or upgraded);

  • Require the customer to cover restocking or shipping fees for replacement;

  • Request return of the defective unit before issuing a replacement.

This warranty does not cover installation or removal costs, labor, or materials. Replacements outside the Continental United States may incur additional shipping charges.

5. Exclusions and Limitations

This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

  • Products used outside the intended purpose or recommended conditions;

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, natural disasters, or improper electrical supply;

  • Products altered or modified by non-authorized parties;

  • Consumables such as batteries;

  • Software bundled or embedded with the product;

  • Products installed or used in violation of industry standards (e.g., UL, ANSI, CSA);

  • Products purchased outside the U.S. and Canada.

This warranty is void if the product was used in a way that violates our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, or any other user agreement.

6. Disclaimer of Other Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY TORCHSTAR, AND REPLACES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS—EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY—including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

7. Limitation of Liability

TORCHSTAR will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the product, or from any breach of warranty or contract. TORCHSTAR’s total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the defective product.

8. Dispute Resolution

This warranty is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be resolved via binding arbitration through a mutually agreed alternative dispute resolution provider. Arbitration may be conducted via phone, online, or written submission without requiring in-person appearance. If arbitration is not applicable, the customer agrees to jurisdiction in the courts of Los Angeles County, California.

9. Additional Information

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

  • Some states or provinces do not allow exclusions or limitations on implied warranties or incidental damages, so certain terms may not apply to you.

  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights depending on your location.
